Yes, we have cookies…. they are gluten-free and paleo friendly.
No, seriously…. they are!
The photo you see is of my son and me. You’ll hear me refer to Parker a lot. He’s my one and only and the man of our house. As of today he’s 17 years old (junior in high school), 6’1″ or 6’2″ (I can’t keep up), and is rocking blue hair…. blue…. like really blue. Blue like indigo. Blue like wow, that’s really blue! You know, it suits him, too.
So why the Altered Sanctuary, you ask? As you can probably tell from our photo, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g we do is altered. Yep, everything. Our home is peaceful and our sanctuary, hence the name of this website.
What shall the future hold for us? (shall…. when was the last time you heard the word shall?) Our goal is to create a haven for artistic types like us so that we may share with you, the world, our latest projects and current adventures. This is not a dress rehearsal as they say so you have to live for the day. Carpe diem!
Eventually we’ll have a virtual store here and perhaps a brick and mortar store, too, where we’ll be able to share our wares with those who are interested. For now, however, we hope to entertain you, enlighten you, and maybe even educate you once in a while with the things that are rollin’ around in our noggins. Our interests are quite varied as you soon will see.
Be sure to check back often and see what we’re up to here. I promise – there will be something for everyone. I can’t wait to see how this grows…
PS: if you love fluffy bunnies, unicorns, and rainbows, don’t despair. We might have a lot of skulls and always wear black and seem kinda scary but we are good people. Really, we are! 🙂
Photo: ZombiCon 2014 held in downtown Ft. Myers, FL with about 10,000 of our closest friends. The theme was “Voo Doo”, our favorite theme yet.
